It's a beautiful day in the neighbourhoods of Maria Auxiliadora and Soto here in the Dominican Republic. Not long after the first roosters started to crow, parents were up and getting their children ready for school. Soon close to 800 children (toddlers up to 18 years old) were heading down the barrio roads to one of the TEARS schools. And waiting for them were the dedicated teachers and staff who were preparing for another day of investing in the lives of these youth. A beautiful day to be here with friends in our partner neighbourhood!
