Day 1 : We Are Family by Sister Sledge

Hola from Maria Auxiliadora! Today we got the chance to tour the aquaponics program, the high school, health clinic, went into the barrio, the elementary school, and primary school! At the elementary school they have a theme for the month - November's theme is : La Familia y el Buen Trato - family and treating each other well. As we were visiting all these programs what stood out was the connection and relationships that were at the heart of every program - the true essence of what it means to treat each other well as whole people. Taking care of their minds, hearts, souls and bodies.
