Day 5: Won't You Be My Neighbour

Day 5 for Laurel and the freezer boys (our A/C is sort of back?), and what a day!

We attended the El Camino church service this morning; another way that T.E.A.R.S. serves the community. In the afternoon, our friends from T.E.A.R.S took us to a local river swimming spot, and we got a chance to continue to build relationships in the community along the way.

We were excited to get a chance to give back to the community today as Joudi got a chance to fix a flat tire on the bus, Luke got our translator Isaac into climbing, Mat taught everyone how to play cribbage, and Laurel continued to create lasting memories with the children at T.E.A.R.S. (stories to be told when we return).

We are excited to plunge back into the schools tomorrow and continue learning and building relationships with the kids and teachers. Thank you for your prayers.

Stay frosty,

Laurel, Mat, Joudi, Luke

Day 7 : Memories

We can’t believe it’s only been a week since we left Calgary! We’ve made so many memories and built upon so many lasting relationships....
