Day 4: Warm Connections

Today was somewhat of a rest day for our group, as we got to go to the beach! We started off with a long drive, then relaxed and swam in the ocean with our friends from T.E.A.R.S.

Even though it was a more laid-back day, we still had a wonderful experience connecting with the surrounding community. One thing that really stood out to us was how much value is placed on conversation and genuine connection. Everywhere we went, interactions were full of laughter, long chats, and a real sense of community. It’s clear that here, relationships truly come first — something that continues to inspire us and something we hope to bring back to our communities at home.
