Each February, children attending TEARS School, La Vega, Dominican Republic- as well as those who have graduated in the past- are invited to share in an energetic and exciting week packed full of activities. For many children it is the highlight of their entire year.
Months are spent anticipating this incredible event, and it has never failed to leave an impression. Activities have included: face painting, crafts, volleyball, guitar lessons, dance and drama, worship time, biblical lessons, baseball, swimming, cabin competitions, and playground fun.
Teams, such as those from Varsity Bible Church, Central United Church, and Bonavista Baptist Church in Calgary, Alberta, donate their time and energy to partner in funding and working with the TEARS School in coordinating this camp.
